Flathead Lake is only a 90 minute drive from Missoula

One of the many beauties that Western Montana has to hold is Flathead Lake. The lake ranks#79 for largest natural freshwater lakes in the world and is the largest natural freshwater lake in the western US (by surface area) with 191.5 sq miles. Montanans hold the lake in high regard and it is known for its crystal-clear water as it is one of the cleanest lakes you’ll find.

A quick 90-minute drive from Missoula will put you right on the edge of the lake, itching to touch its clear waters.
